These are awesome games for when the weather is bad.

“Ticket To Ride Nordic Countries” by Alan R. Moon is a part of a train adventure series (Days of Wonder). In this game you collect various train cars that enable you to claim railway routes and pass through tunnels and onto ferries as they connect cities throughout Nordic Countries. It comes with a board that actually shows where the mountains, Swedish ports, countryside where the Vikings once were, and the Arctic Circle is located as you move through the routes.

The next game is “Risk: Plants vs. Zombies”.  In this version of risk, a mob of zombies are invading the quaint town of Brainsborough, while the pea-packing plants branch out in a battle for suburban dominations. There are 3 ways to play this game including Mission Objectives, Total Domination, and Tower Defense.

The third game is called “Takenoko”. In this game, the Emperor of China has offered the Emperor of Japan a Giant Panda in a gesture of peace. You are appointed the delicate task of caring for this politically-important Panda and tending to the Emperor’s illustrious bamboo garden. You must cultivate plots of land using irrigation and intelligence so that bamboo, the only food that the Panda will eat, grows in abundance. The sacred animal also has an uncontrollable appetite for crunchy young sprouts.
