This is one of those good food for thought statements. It can be true or false depending on your point of view. I believe that behavior does not necessarily make a person a better person. What if the term behavior includes having the ability to flex your pelvic floor muscles well during sex to make it more enjoyable? That behavior takes dedication to develop, but it does not necessarily make a person a better person. Then, there is the question of involuntary behaviors. Sure, a person can think of their body as being like an animal that they can train to do things like withstand the stress associated with being in a burning building in order to save a person the way a fire fighter does, but, other behaviors, like our reflexes, we can not directly control. It does not seem sensible to me to say that something like a person’s reflexes, even though it is a behavior, would determine whether or not that person is a better person.
