The Orion Nebula (cloud) lies about 1,350 light-years from earth in the sword of the hunter’s figure in the constellation Orion. It contains hundreds of very hot young stars. Radiation from these stars excite the gases in the nebula and cause it to glow. I imagine that the stardust collecting in the stellar clouds’ gravity…
A bolide is an exceptionally large meteor or a shooting star that often explodes and is also called a fireball. I remember seeing one of these as a kid. It was beautiful! Make a wish if you see one!
Scientists have pictures of huge lunar pits that they think are the entrances to lava tunnels on the moon. They say that, if these tunnels are not filled, they could provide passages for livable human lairs on the moon. The Fukang Meteorite is a 1,003 kg meteorite discovered in the city of Fukang near the northwestern region of Xinjiang, China. It is made of pallasite and olivine (a mineral) crystals. This meteorite is believed to originate from inside intact meteors created during the formation of the solar system about 4.5 billion years ago.
