Artists of his time did not like his style and called it vulgar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His <em>Nuda Veritas<\/em> painting is a painting of a woman named Eva who represents a <em>femme fatale<\/em>. \u00a0It contains an interesting quotation from dramatist Schiller &#8220;If you cannot please everyone with your art, please a few.
