I like the first version of this song better than the second version. The first version makes Christmas sound more like a belief than the emotion, joy. I like the idea of Christmas being more of a belief than an emotion because people grow and their feelings can change quickly. I prefer the idea of viewing holidays as a celebration of what is good in the world.
I also like the symbols associated with Christmas. One of my favorite symbols are the turtledoves which are an emblem for devoted love. Plus, they remind me of sweet, little doves that my husband and I saw when we went on a trip to Mexico. They sounded like they were saying, “Whooooo”, every morning. Those adorable little birds are fascinating. They form strong pair bonds and can migrate long distances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
